The US government has held talks with businessman Elon Musk regarding the use of Starlink satellite internet in Ukraine. This was announced on Saturday, February 18, by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, Reuters reports .
SpaceX recently said it had taken steps to prevent the Ukrainian military from using Starlink to control drones in the region.
When asked if the US had asked Musk, the company’s chief executive, not to limit the Ukrainian military’s use of Starlink capabilities, Blinken only confirmed the talks.
“Well, I can’t share any of the conversations we had other than to say we had conversations,” he said.
