US Vice President Kamala Harris does not expect anything good from the immediate prospect of a war in Ukraine .
She admitted this at the Munich Security Conference.
“I have no illusions about what lies ahead. There will be more dark days in Ukraine, the daily agony of war will continue, the consequences of the war will be felt by countries near and far, from Africa to Southeast Asia and the Caribbean,” she said. .
At the same time, Harris assured that the West would not back down in the confrontation with Russia.
“If Putin thinks that he can wait for our retreat, then he is gravely mistaken. Time is not on his side,” the US Vice President said.
Recall that today Czech President Petr Pavel announced undesirable consequences in the event of the defeat of Russia . In particular, he fears that the liberation of some part of the temporarily occupied territory may lead to such great human losses that society simply cannot bear it.
Earlier we wrote that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced the losses of Russian troops in the war in Ukraine . According to him, 200,000 Russians were killed and wounded during the war.
