MIAMI, Florida – Groups A and D of League C wrap up, as the Road To W Gold Cup continues on Monday with another three matches.
Aruba vs. Belize
Group A winners Belize will celebrate their first-place finish with a road date against Aruba at the Guillermo P. Trinidad Stadium in Oranjestad.
These two sides met back on the first matchday in which Belize used a pair of second half goals to claim a 2-0 win.
The Central Americans have won all five of their matches in the group on the backs of playmakers like Sabrina Eiley, Khalydia Velasquez and Mikhaila Bowden.
Eiley has four goals and an assist, Velasquez leads the team with five goals and has an assist, and Bowden has four goals and an assist.
Aruba arrive into the encounter fresh off an 8-0 win versus Turks and Caicos Islands. Bonny Lammers scored four goals in that win and leads all the players in all leagues in shots with 37. Meanwhile, Vanessa Susanna has seven goals and three assists in the RTWGC.
Turks and Caicos Islands vs. Bonaire
Turks and Caicos Islands will be aiming for their first win of the campaign in Group A when they host Bonaire at the TCIFA National Stadium in Providenciales.
These two teams met on the first matchday and it was a defensive battle, as they played to a 0-0 draw.
Turks and Caicos GK Eridania Medina leads League C in saves with 50, while Chanile Butterfield has been a workhorse in midfield in the last two games with four clearances.
Bonaire will be seeking their second win of the RTWGC and will look to Bibi Wijnschenk and Vurgy-Ann Visers for a spark.
Wijnschenk has two goals on the campaign, while Visers supplied the lone Bonaire goal in their last outing, a 5-1 defeat to Belize.
Curacao vs. Cayman Islands
Group D will come to a close, as group winners Curacao will enjoy a celebratory day with their fans against Cayman Islands at the Stadion Rignaal Jean Francisca in Willemstad, Curacao.
Curacao have enjoyed a perfect start, with three victories in their first three matches, including a 2-0 win at Cayman Islands in the October window.
Kadisha Martina was exceptional in Curacao last match, scoring four goals in a 5-1 win at Anguilla, while in the last two matches Taisha Hansen has three goals and four assists. Sadeyah Rosa has been influential as well, with two goals and two assists.
Cayman Islands will be eager to find a win in their Group D finale, and can rely on the players such as Stoyanna Stewart, Molly Kehoe and Shayan Windsor, who all have scored in the RTWGC.
